Do you want to be part of the C40 World Mayors Summit? Participate as a volunteer in the first annual international event of the City of Buenos Aires most important on cities and climate change and live closely everything that happens.

Every three years the Summit is held with the objective of bringing together mayors and leaders to share ideas, showcase innovative solutions and unite to create a sustainable and equitable future. The event will bring together young people, entrepreneurs, activists and citizens motivated by the idea of building an agenda that puts people, planet, peace and prosperity at center stage. 

On October 19, 20 and 21, the City will host the C40 World Mayors Summit, an event that will bring together the mayors of the world's major cities committed to developing actions against climate change.

Volunteers will provide accompaniment to international delegations, translation, support in public spaces, logistics and communication, tours to neighborhoods and emblematic places of the city, among other possibilities.

 

Volunteers for the Buenos Aires C40 Mayores Summit will be chosen from among local and foreign candidates and the only requirements to participate are: to be over 18 years of age and complete the form at the end of this article.

We hope to have more than 400 volunteers and 90 city delegations!

 

If you are interested in joining us, check here some of the skills expected of a volunteer:

• Good command of English, Chinese, French, Portuguese and Spanish (not necessarily required to speak all these languages).
• Proactivity and willingness to attend various events, 
• Ability and willingness for interpersonal and intercultural relations. 

The volunteering will have a total duration of 40 hours and will include the realization of training sessions for a total of 12 hours distributed and a certificate of participation endorsed by the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, C40 and the United Nations (UN) will be awarded.
