If you are an international student in our city, you can join the Buenos Aires International Experience or EBAI, the program of professional practices of the City Government.

What is EBAI?

Buenos Aires International Experience (EBAI) is the program of non-rented professional practices and cultural exchange aimed at foreign students with a strong interest in public management, allowing young people to explore the public sector, learn from policy- makers and learn about the management of a large city from the inside. For two months you can be part of a high impact team in one of the areas of the Buenos Aires Government. It is a unique opportunity to tour the City, learn about our culture, and develop your skills and knowledge, working in the different areas of the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

If you are proactive, you have the capacity for leadership and vocation for public policy, you cannot miss this opportunity. Boost your academic exchange and start your professional career!

Who can be a part?

International university students between 20 and 25 years of age who choose the City of Buenos Aires to study or who come exclusively to carry out their professional practice.

What does it include?

• Professional practice not rented in an area of GCBA, according to the profile and interests of each candidate.

• Assignment of a tutor who will accompany them in the performance of their tasks.

• Meetings with officials in charge of the design and implementation of public policies.

• A short itinerant course in different universities of Buenos Aires.

• Weekly trainings on leadership, networking, the government structure of Argentina and methodological tools for the development of their professional work.

• Cultural proposals to know and enjoy the main attractions of the City.

• A one-time fixed sum of eight thousand Argentine pesos ($ 8000) to cover internal transportation expenses and lunches or snacks.

What is its duration?

The practices will take place from June 5 to August 7.

Which are the requirements?

To participate, complete this form and send us an email to study@buenosaires.gob.ar with:

1. Certificate of regular student in an institution of higher education from abroad of the Argentine Republic and / or being conducting an academic exchange in one of the universities with Study Buenos Aires agreement. 

2. Letter of acceptance from the university in Buenos Aires with Study Buenos Aires agreement (only in the cases that apply).

3. Copy of the valid passport issued in the country of origin with a minimum validity of one (1) year from the date of submission of the registration form.

4. 1 (one) letter of recommendation from academic and / or professional referents.

5. Curriculum Vitae in Spanish

6. Motivation letter in Spanish (maximum 200 words)

7. Spanish language knowledge certificate

8. Be between 20 and 25 years of age at the beginning of the inscription.
