Curso Intensivo de Español (CIE)

The CIE is a four-week paid program that we offer in February or June, right before the start of the regular semester. It is designed for students to improve the language as they explore the Argentine culture and history

.  In-class academic work is complemented by field trips commented in Spanish by a professional tour guide. Class materials include famous works by Argentine authors as well as grammatical exercises for developing communication skills. 

The CIE offers two levels: low intermediate and high intermediate. Students are assigned to the corresponding level according to the result of the online level test they take before activities start. The courses are designed in such a way as to permit students to pass on to the next level once the pass the final exam at the end of the Program.

How to apply?  

To apply you must follow the steps listed below:

• A1/B2 previous level of Spanish . Or take our online Spanish test here: http://pad.usal.edu.ar/pad/test-ele 
• After the first part of the test you will be contacted via email by a representative from our Spanish department to arrange a Skype interview. Please remember to check your emails daily.

Application deadline: 15th November (for February) and 15th May (for June).
